Microcosm

The 2023 edition of the Festival enters the undergrowth microcosm, obscure and wonderful, suspended between the animal and the vegetable world, to investigate the mind as it acts within the social body. In a program that alternates pure dance performances with narratives and choreographic tributes, we will move randomly through the eternal polarization between love and violence, toxic masculinity, female affirmation, intercultural dialogue, knowledge transmission, intergenerational exchange, and inclusion. As is customary, many live music proposals will accompany the dance performances: from the Haydn Orchestra string quartet to the pianist Scipione Sangiovanni, from Laura Agnusdei’s jazz to Chloé Thévenin’s electronic music and Manos Tsangaris’ percussion.
